Cromwell Business Systems

In my three years with Cromwell Business Systems, I have progressed from a junior web developer to senior manager. In recognition of my achievements my salary has been tripled in my time there.

RefHost Ltd

RefHost provided hosting plans for thousands of small websites on a network of Linux based servers. I was responsible for:

  • management of the network and servers including cobalt raq and debian linux machines
  • production of in house support tools
  • maintenance of an existing affiliate marketing website (classic ASP)
  • production of a new marketing site in PHP and MySQL, along with interface design, affiliate plan design and all technical aspects.
  • ensuring high delivery rates on hundreds of thousands of emails a day sent through our ironport server

Occasional Photography

For a number of years I ran a small social photography company in Cambridge. In the course of two weeks our five photographers would take 35,000 photos each any every one was editing and processed by me over the same two weeks. I ran an ecommerce website, handled all logistics and marketing. The company bought a new level of quality to social photography in Cambridge.
